Babies don't shed tears until they're at least one month old

Babies don't shed tears until they're around one month old due to the development of their tear ducts. When babies are born, their tear ducts, which are responsible for producing and draining tears, aren't fully developed.

It takes a little time for these tiny ducts to mature and start working properly. As a result, during their first few weeks of life, babies might cry, but you won't see tears flowing from their eyes.

This is completely normal, and it's a part of their early growth and development. Eventually, as their tear ducts develop, you'll notice tears when they cry, usually around the one-month mark.

Hope you got value?
