‎What Happens When You Sleep?

‎Your body enters a healing mode:

‎Melatonin: The “bedtime boss” — it kicks in when it’s dark, telling your brain it’s time to shut down and rest! 

‎GABA: I don't know much about driving, smiles, but for GABA , just think of this as your brain’s brake pedal — calming your thoughts and slowing activity.

‎Adenosine: Builds up while you’re awake. By nightfall, it’s screaming “go to bed already!” but "you no go hear"  😊

‎Every night, your body runs 4–6 cycles of deep rest and REM (dream) sleep. During this time:

‎•Memories are sorted 🧠

‎•Stress hormones balance out ⚖️

‎What Happens When You Don’t Sleep Well?
